I had actually done one of them a little while ago, and then realised that something had stained the fabric. A rust kind of something. I stomped and cursed and carried on for a little while and then just had to get over it. So, it needed re-upholstering, and getting that done kick started me into finishing the other. They are a lovely bright white which looks fresh and new compared to their dark brown past…

I love the crazed, distressed look of these – just shabby enough for me! And grey and white is very much my thing at the moment… though I am itching to get my hands on the ASCP English Yellow… I have a little side table that would be perfect in yellow! But anyway…

My own kitchen chairs are very much in need of a makeover, but since one still has a booster seat attached to it, it will just have to wait!
