A week or so ago we had our very first Painters Night Out at Paisley Vintage. It's something I'd been thinking about for a little while but was waiting for the perfect timing (and a little bit of head space to think it through!).
The concept behind the Night Out is simple; a social event where like minded people can get together and get creative. Through Paisley Vintage I've had the chance to meet so many lovely people I knew that creating a community would be an amazing opportunity. I hope that Paisley Vintage in an inspiring space for people to come and spend time, chat through ideas and get a kick start when they're unsure. And the night out is an extension of that, getting everyone (including me) to think about new products, ideas and colours.
We had such a lovely group of people, and we spent the night chatting, eating and painting! For our first event we used our Image Transfer Liquid (available to purchase here) to decorate pots.
Image Transfer Liquid lets you transfer a photocopied image onto any surface painted with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. At the night out there were loads of pictures to choose from, and lots time to play with the liquid and decorate the terracotta pots. I'll be sharing more about Image Transfer Liquid in the next week or so here on the blog if you'd like to learn more.
The next Painters Night Out is scheduled for Saturday November 25. If you'd like to come along to our next Painters Night Out, head over here to book!
