Dresser to Entertainment Unit

This dresser was the first thing I bought without the express intent of putting it somewhere in my home. I grabbed it on ebay, as I just loved the floral accents across the front. Here is the before shot…

To make a space for a DVD / Blueray player or similar gadgets, I pulled out the top set of drawers and built a shelf for them to sit on. I’ve also cut a circular hole in the back board for cables.

I have to admit that I wasn’t sure about her legs when I first picked her up. They seemed a strange pick for the unit. But now they’re white I think they’re lovely. But it’s the floral detail on the drawers that are my favourite, I think they’ve come up beautifully – I’m almost tempted to keep it for myself!

I couldn’t resist a photo of her in action…
