Chalk Paint™ Inspiration – Amsterdam Green

Amsterdam Green is one of Annie’s newest Chalk Paint™ colours, and is now available at Paisley Vintage.

The Annie Sloan project below, styled with botanical prints, really highlights the forest green tone, although I’m sure for many Australian’s may instantly think – ‘Federation Green’! Annie has taken inspiration for this colour from the deep green of painted shutters and doors of Amsterdam.

US stockist When Modern Was recently shared the dresser below – I just love the more traditional tone of the piece, and it definitely adds a masculine feel when teamed with the dark wood of the top and drawer edges. And how cute is the little map decoupage on the front – just beautiful!

Last but not least, Steffiex Brocante Atelier shared her own Amsterdam Green projects, shown below. The sign she has created highlights to me that this green is perfect for Christmas decorating – so I need to get painting!
