Beach Inspired Shabby Hall Table

Yesterday I spent the day at the Avoca Beachside Markets – a great day out with my sister but completely exhausting! With everything that is going on at this time of the year (five birthday parties just as a start) it was my last one for a little while, but I thought I would share one of the popular items from my stall – this beach inspired hall table.

Hall Table

I had originally bought the hall table over 12 months ago, had spray painted it with Dulux Galaxy Blue and had it sitting in my entry. And then I found something else recently that I just love and so I decided to find this one a new home. I painted ASCP Pure White over the top and went to town with the distressing – I love the layered look! Reminds me of a beach house… hence the title

The table got loads of admiration at the market – I find something with character usually does! It went home with a great family who were all smiles as they carried it off, which if course makes me smile too.

So, are you wondering what I bought to replace her? Well…

Sorry for the grainy photo… some things aren’t working for me this morning!! I can’t take all the credit for this one, my husband saw it at the local silent auction house and then I raced around there to put in a bid. It needs a few minor adjustments… the inside has been painted a pretty awful coat of lumpy bumpy black paint, and the back juts out and needs replacing. This is one girl you won’t see me painting the outside of though… she looks perfect just the way she is!

Thanks for stopping by…
