All I Want for Christmas for the Kids!!

All I want for ChristmasOver the last three weeks I’ve been sharing some of the gorgeous things I’ve found as I’m doing my Christmas shopping. There were all the things I’d love for me… I mean, any of the amazing women in my life and then there were some great finds for men. For my husband and I Christmas is the one time when we buy something for ourselves, not something essential, not something for the house, or for the kids, but a luxury that we’d just enjoy.

I have to say that I think Christmas takes on a whole new meaning when you are buying for kids. The build up, the excitement, the stories… for us the month starts with Emma’s birthday (shes turning five this year, how on earth did that happen!!!!) and it’s parties and concerts and Santa photos and Christmas presents!! We try to stick to a fairly strict budget, and try to balance the fads with things that are a little more long lasting, things they need with things they want, and a few things for the new year thrown in.  This year my daughter Emma will also be heading off to school, so they’ll be a few bits and pieces ready for the school year too.

So what have I found? Take a look…

For kids1. Nightlight / 2.Giant Snakes & Ladders / 3. Giant Hi Tower / 4. Hair Brush / 5. Marble Run / 6. Children’s Table and Chairs / 7. Bowling Set / 8. Play Kitchen / 9. Stag Head / 10. Blackboard / 11. Beach Cricket Set / 12. Jewellery / 13. Stationary Set

When you’re not racing round looking for things at the last minute, searching for children’s things can be fun. Online. Without small children running away or pulling everything off the shelves. The night light (number 1) is something I’ve had my eye on for the longest time, just waiting for someone to have a baby so I could give it as a gift! And number 4? That’s a hair brush… works beautifully when your daughters long hair is wet and knotty.

What are picking out for your children this Christmas?
